In accordance with our overall business strategy, INTERSCHALT has invested in the acquisitions of two maritime software solutions providers: AVECS Corp. AG in 2004 and Seacos GmbH in 2006. Both companies are today building the core of our business unit Software Solutions. Software Solutions have become an integral part of our strategy representing an ideal contribution and extension of our product portfolio. We are now in the position to offer a complete range of products and services to our customers: One stop shopping along the entire life cycle of a vessel – from ship building to ship operations!
We believe that the efficient use of software solutions can help ship line operators and ship owners to optimize their run costs of vessels, to minimize off-duty periods and to efficiently allocate resources to ship operations. With our products we have reached leading market positions, both in ship operations and ship handling and maintenance. Software Solutions offers a complete range of software products and services, ranging from the well-known TITAN, a long established planned maintenance system to MACS3, a leading loading computer system.
