NAVECS is a safety management system which can be used to simulate emergencies for training purposes and as a decision support system in real emergencies. Specific data, plans and standardized contingency plans are prepared for each combination of company, ship type and ship, resulting in a unique and individually adapted program for the vessel.

Over 40 emergency plans are activated by buttons displayed on the screen, including: fire (in port or at sea), man-over-board, unlawful acts, piracy, collisions etc.
