The Rudder Position Indication System transfers continuously the actual position of the rudder to the control consoles on the bridge, at ECR and steering gear room.
The system consists of transmitter - mechanically coupled to the rudder shaft by lever-drive or flange-coupling and one or more receivers (indication instruments).

The various kind of the equipment available in different sizes and styles according to the requirements on board, can be installed at all types of vessels.
